The section of awards exists so as to supply creators with the motivation to propose their works on a specific theme. In the context of the awards one is made possible in cooperation with Cedefop.

4th Cedefop/Thessaloniki Photomuseum Award 2012

The results of the 4th Cedefop/Thessaloniki Photomuseum Award will be announced on February 27, 2013.

The jury consists of:

- Elina Heikka (Director of The Finnish Museum of Photography)
- Jennifer Trausch (Director of Photography of Impossible Works)
- Simon Edwards (representative of Photomed Festival)
